This concept of self-sacrifice is very significant. Normally, God is supposed to receive sacrifices and offerings; but here the victim of sacrifice is God Himself. The opinions of the Hindu Scholars Among the Hindu scholars we cannot see any unanimous opinion about the Prajapati-sacrifice.   If Brahmins want to follow real Vedic religion, they should perform sandhyavandana, brahmacharis should sacrifice chamata sticks in fire, married men should perform oupasana homa and vyswadewa and pancha mahayajna. All the 16 shodasha karma need to be performed correctly. Vedas should be chanted per seeksha rules and dedicated to Gods and : Sanjeev Newar.

additions, book 10 and also parts of book 1), 2. the so-called Mantra language (Atharvaveda, gvedakhila, the mantras of the Yajurveda etc., the Såmaveda), 3.   The Vedas are considered the earliest literary record of Indo-Aryan civilization and the most sacred books of are the original scriptures of Hindu teachings, containing spiritual knowledge encompassing all aspects of philosophical maxims of Vedic literature have stood the test of time, and the Vedas form the highest religious authority for all aspects of Hinduism and are a Author: Subhamoy Das. Sacrifice was the primary religious activity of the Vedic period, and although the concept of sacrifice has undergone dramatic transformation as Hinduism has developed over the past few thousand.

I am happy to read the question asking specifically about Vedas. Vedas mention one Reality, that is called “ekam sat” (One Reality), sometimes referred to as “tad ekam” (That One). It is poetically referred to as kaH, meaning “who”, whom the seeke. The proverbial demons, the Asuras (comprehensively discussed in Hale, Wash Edward: Asura in Early Vedic Religion, Motilal Banarsidass, Delhi , and in Krishna, Nanditha: The Book of Demons, Penguin, Delhi ()), originally indicate the class of gods preferentially worshipped by the Anu tribe, but also by the first Vedic seers.   The Vedic literature also describes an elaborate horse sacrifice called the Ashvamedha that involved many animals and even bestiality to create a victorious kingdom. 20th century commentaries, such as Swami Dayananda Saraswati, rejected the classical commentaries of the Vedas corruptions “opposed to the real meaning of the Vedas.”.
